Tyranny in Texas September 2, 2007 Is This Just the Beginning?




Texas Straw Poll proves the GOP won't allow a fair election. Delegates who paid to vote in this Saturday's Texas Straw Poll were denied access to the building to pick up their credentials and vote. Their notices all set the time to arrive at 10:00 a.m. Because they are voting for Republican candidate Ron Paul they were denied access. This video shows others walking in with almost no restraint.

As Americans living in a free country, this is extremely scary and sounds like something that would happen in a communist country not The United States. The media's continued blackout and censorship of this top level candidate allows these types of things to happen as it is assured the mainstream media won't pick up the story. So this kind of stuff will keep happening because who can these Americans tell? The media doesn't report on Ron Paul or on Americans being denied civil liberties. They may provide brief glimpses but it's usually accompanied by misinformation including that's he's for gay marriage, or that he has radical ideas. All of which aren't true.

If supporting the Constitution is radical in the United States than we're all radical. This man is running for the President of the United States and he has to take the oath of affirmation which states:

"I do solemnly swear, that I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." ~Article II, Section 1

Our current President when trying to get the Patriot Act passed was given the Constitution as the reason to reject it. His response: "Stop throwing the Constitution is my face, it's just a goddamned piece of paper. "

His oath is to defend it. The reason our freedoms are being taken away just like this video depicts is because our current administration sees the very thing our country and freedom are based on as a goddamned piece of paper getting in his way of his being a dictator. That isn't upholding the oath. He may have taken the oath but he has only committed treasonous acts against it.

  • Declared war in Iraq-Congress is given the right to declare war in the Constitution not the president. ~Article 1, Section 8
  • The creation of the Patriot Act removes our 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th amendment rights... need I go on. Creating an act that takes away our amendment rights under the Constitution is Unconstitutional.
  • In 2006 the Military Commissions Act Suspended Habeas Corpus for anyone suspected to be an unlawful Enemy Combatant with that definition left up to our government's discretion.
These items were done and Americans stood by as if nothing has happened. To many citizens are under the belief that question our leaders is unpatriotic and un-American but our Constitution was written knowing full well that if our country was overthrown and liberties were lost it would be at the hands of corrupt and evil leaders.

Common in propaganda is the use of the term unpatriotic of those that even question the government. Our Constitution was created to protect us against our government not to protect our government from us.

From The Declaration of Independence:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. It is American to change an abusive government. Our forefathers knew power was easily corrupted and they wrote our Constitution and Bill of Rights to give us the power of free speech, to protest our government and to assemble peaceably as our own protection against an oppressor. Being denied these basic freedoms is a huge red flag that our government is controlling what we are allowed to see on the mainstream media or Newspapers. I don't think our forefathers ever envisioned the press being controlled by our government as long as we were a free Republic. The press only 20 years ago reported good or bad the state of our country. Now their is a thick vial of secrecy and the media is owned by government controlled companies. The easiest way to prove this is to weigh what you see on your local news station with the same topic entered into a search engine on the Internet.

The truth is out there, as educated Americans you just have to seek it out.
